Many myths surround child sexual abuse. For example, many people believe that only female children are abused. This is untrue. Both boys and girls face abuse and require support from family and teachers.

Teaching children about their private parts is one of the most fundamentally important things you can do as a parent or teacher. Children who are not able to express themselves and who do not know about their bodies are more vulnerable than those who do.
